ESPID 2026

The 44th European Society of Paediatric Infectious Diseases Meeting (ESPID 2026) which will take place 1-5 June 2026 in Bologna & Online. 
 
The ESPID Meeting gives centre-stage to cutting-edge research, puts a spotlight on the latest clinical practices, and provides amazing career opportunities for those interested in paediatric infectious diseases. ESPID 2026 participants will meet others with similar interests, establish collaborations, and form new relationships. Together we can improve child health!

41th annual meeting of NSCMID, Mariehamn, Åland Islands, Finland.

Thursday, September 11
The 41th NSCMID meeting was held on 27th of August to 31st of August in Mariehamn, Åland Islands, Finland. The meeting was preceded by a pre-course on tick-borne diseases (TBDs) exploring the latest insights into the epidemiology, diagnostics, and clinical management of TBDs. The scientific program of the meeting itself included various sessions in the field of infectious diseases, climate change related medical and infectious disease threats, emerging environmental health risks, AMR surveillance,  infection control, clinical microbiology and more of tick-borne diseases.  The honorary lecture was given by professor Jaana Vuopio from University of Turku, Finland. The NSCMID meeting of 2025 provided a wide range of social activities including a welcome reception at the tallship Pommern hosted by the City of Mariehamn and a traditional Congress dinner.
